Speed and precision of C64 powers creativity, productivity and customer service for Czarnowski

Las Vegas-based Czarnowski acquired its first Kongsberg table – the X24 - a decade ago, to help with graphic production and milling. And according to Chris Osby, in charge of graphic fabric production at the company, when the time came to look at a larger and more advanced machine there was only ever going to be one choice of cutting table.

"That X24 has been a workhorse,” he said. “We beat it up! I think it was the end of 2022, Kongsberg was actually exhibiting (at an event) with the C64, with a feeder and pick-up roller, cutting fabrics all day long for the three days I attended. Nobody else was doing that, and they were doing it accurately! So our second machine we purchased last year was a C64, primarily for the function of cutting grand format fabric graphics down to size before they get finished with sewing."

Chris explained that the precision of the C64, as well as its acceleration and production speed, help ensure Czarnowski can keep pace with its customers, delivering the highest quality, creatively designed end product on time.

“I have run tests on that machine time and time again and the accuracy of the machine is not anywhere in question,” said Chris. “My prime function was to look at this machine and go, ‘I can get fabrics to you in four hours’. We print, we sub, we sew, fit every fabric., and honestly, the Kongsberg is the biggest time saver out of those four processes. It allows you to make promises that you can actually keep.”
