PowerHead

Toolhead & Tool Position

What is it used for

The PowerHead offers the possibility to crease, V-notch and cut straight lines at high speeds with a variety of adapters, ensuring superior performance on heavy-duty materials. It features 150 mm diameter crease wheels with a scoring pressure equivalent to 50 kg, 2.5 times more than the down-pressure of conventional tool stations, sufficient to crease triple and double-wall corrugated with heavy liners.
It also comes with two regular tool positions, so all standard insert tools can be used. The large wheels provide superior crease quality on recycled corrugated board, and the head offers V-notch cutting with mitered corners and extremely precise folds.

  • 50 kg (110 lbs) down force
  • Powerful head rotation
  • Large variation of V-notch tools (angled cutting)
  • Compatible with all standard Kongsberg X Series insert tools
