Benefits & Features

Engineered for daily wins

Businesses choose the X Series to handle a wide variety of materials, work smarter, and deliver flawless results on every single project.

From fabric to solid metal

Shape packaging, signage, and displays on a single platform. Different types of flexibles, folding carton, corrugated, solid board, foam, plastics, or wood all cut clean. From kiss-cutting vinyl to milling aluminum composite material, tools switch easily, tuned to the job. Any material. Zero limits.

Print and cut, perfectly aligned

Every cut lands exactly on the print. Before the first cut, a camera photographs each bit and blade. iPC software then calibrates them automatically. Once cutting begins, the camera captures the registration marks on the material, and iPC compensates for stretch, shrink, or shift. This process repeats sheet after sheet. And so, print to cut is always spot on.

Rigid materials, milled with muscle

Acrylic, wood, MDF, and aluminum composite finish at high milling speed. The liquid-cooled MultiCUT-HP spindle runs extended milling cycles at max power. This controlled force cuts through rigid materials several times faster than weaker alternatives.

Thin materials, cut clean and fast

Textile, folding carton, paper, or vinyl all cut and crease with pinpoint accuracy. Three configurable positions in the FlexiHead accommodate various tools, so even the thinnest materials fly through at full pace.

A perfect corner, on any board

Thinner paperboards fold clean through a crease wheel. Corners in thicker paper-core boards call for another approach: a V-notch knife cuts out a V-shaped slice, while the other side stays intact. The PowerHead toolhead applies 50 kg of downforce on both tools. Deep enough for a sharp fold, yet gentle enough to keep the liner fully intact.

Exact depth control on thick foam

Take on protective packaging and other foam applications up to 86 mm thick with the dedicated FoamHead toolhead. Support wheels press the foam down, so every cut lands as designed, while partial cuts sit at a consistent depth. Numerous foam jobs. One toolhead.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What materials can the X Series cut?

The X Series can process a wide range of materials used in packaging, signage and display production. These include paper, folding carton, corrugated board, solid board, vinyl, textiles, foam, plastics, acrylic, wood, MDF and aluminum composite material. The achievable cutting depth depends on the selected configuration and toolhead.

Can the X Series cut foam for protective packaging?

Yes. Configured with the FoamHead, the X Series can cut foam materials up to 86 mm thick. Three blade adapters match the blade length to the material thickness, while Z-axis control supports accurate partial cuts at a consistent depth.

Can the X Series mill rigid materials?

Yes. The X Series can be configured for milling rigid materials including acrylic, wood, MDF and aluminum composite material. The liquid-cooled MultiCUT-HP spindle is designed for extended milling cycles and applications involving heavy-duty materials.

How does the X Series ensure accurate print-to-cut registration?

The camera reads registration marks on the printed material, while i-cut Production Console compensates for changes such as material stretch, shrinkage or shifting. This keeps the cutting path aligned with the printed design throughout production.

Can the X Series be configured for different applications?

Yes. The X Series can be configured for sample making, short-run packaging, signage, display production and other digital finishing applications. Its configurable toolheads and upgrade options allow the cutting system to support new materials, applications and production requirements as business needs change.
