From demanding turnaround times to promises they can keep
The challenge
Meeting incredibly fast turnaround times
Czarnowski’s customers can require jobs at incredibly fast turnaround times. On one Tuesday night, the team received a call requesting 27 fabrics by the end of the following day, meaning the fabrics needed to be shipped to the show site within hours.
The team needed to print, sub, cut, sew and fit every fabric within the available time period.
The solution
Speed and accuracy with the C64
Czarnowski purchased its first Kongsberg X24 in 2014, mainly for graphic production and milling. When the company looked at its next machine, it saw the C64 with a feeder and pick-up roller cutting fabrics accurately all day long.
Its second machine was a C64, primarily for cutting grand format fabric graphics down to size before they get finished with sewing. The machine was up and running within three days.

The precision of the C64, as well as its acceleration and production speed, help ensure Czarnowski can keep pace with its customers, delivering the highest quality, creatively designed end product on time.
Within a six-hour period, the team can print, sub, cut, sew and fit every fabric. The Kongsberg is the biggest time saver out of those processes, allowing Czarnowski to make promises that it can actually keep.
Chris has run tests on the machine time and time again, and the accuracy of the machine is not anywhere in question. His prime function was to look at the machine and say that he could get fabrics to customers in four hours.
