New features

• Supports automated production of unprinted material (like barcodes support printed materials).
• Supports roll and sheet/board feeding (also manual feeding).
• Requires a production license.
• The process:
  • Files are sent to a batch submit folder and are added to the batch.
  • A batch type of job appears in the Job List with all job files added.
  • The required material for all jobs is prepared on the automation device.
  • Tooling and production settings are applied based on the ‘Material is Key’ concept.
  • Batch is running with defined feeding between jobs until the batch is completed.

• A number of improvements are available to further simplify adding and using materials/presets:
  • New materials can be fully defined in the job being used. There’s no need to define these in Resource Manager first.
  • Tooling presets can now be fully defined in the Resource Manager.
  • Tooling presets that use tools that are not available on the machine can no longer be selected. Remaining presets can be hidden by user selection to make only company standards available.
  • Tooling presets can be made applicable for materials already when adding material.

Whenever a job is updated, the ‘estimated production time’ is recalculated and presented in a few seconds. This way, operators can see the effect on performance when they, for instance, optimize curve geometry or try different tools and tool parameters.

To simplify the setup of Feeder & Stacker configurations a number of improvements are added.

• Perforation wheel support
  Perforation by knife requires a dashed line, perforation with a perforation wheel requires a continuous line. Users can now indicate how to treat perforation lines created in ArtiosCAD.
• Multi-pass visualization
  The effect of the somewhat complex multi-pass settings used for milling is now visualized.
• Skip a sheet when the corner is not detected
  To avoid stops in unmanned productions a sheet can be skipped if sheet corner is not detected. The next sheet is loaded automatically, the “problem sheet” unloaded.
• New bits and blades
  The “Tool Tip” list used for selection in iPC is updated with all current bits and blades in the Kongsberg web shop.
